About this app

Preparing for the Life in the UK Test? Every attempt costs £50 and you need 18 correct out of 24 to pass. This app gives you the practice to walk in ready: 777 questions and 50 full mock exams, all free.

No account. No sign-up. Works offline.

WHAT IS INSIDE
- 777 practice questions, all free
- 50 mock exams, each 24 questions in 45 minutes, marked at the real 75% pass mark
- 746 flashcards with spaced repetition, so you revise what you keep forgetting
- The official handbook material rewritten as clear bullet points, all 5 chapters
- A written explanation on every answer, right and wrong

PRACTISE THE WAY YOU LEARN
Work through the five handbook chapters in order:
1. The values and principles of the UK
2. What is the UK?
3. A long and illustrious history
4. A modern, thriving society
5. The UK government, the law and your role

Or practise by topic instead. There are 11 topics, including British history, UK government, British values and sport, so you can spend your time where you are weakest rather than starting from page one every time. A key dates drill helps with the history chapters, where most people lose marks.

EVERY MISTAKE BECOMES A LESSON
Everything you answer wrong is collected in one place, grouped and ready to retry. Your score trend across mock attempts shows whether you are actually improving or standing still, which is the thing a pile of practice questions never tells you.

BUILT FOR REAL LIFE
- Fully offline, so you can study on the tube, on a break, anywhere
- Read aloud for questions and explanations, if English is not your first language or you take things in better by listening
- Optional daily reminder and a countdown to your test date
- No email, no login, no paywall on the questions

WHO THIS IS FOR
Anyone applying for British citizenship (naturalisation) or indefinite leave to remain (ILR, settlement) who has to sit the Life in the UK Test. If you have taken the British citizenship test before and it did not go your way, the mistake review and weak area practice were built for exactly that.

ABOUT THE TEST
The Life in the UK Test is 24 multiple choice questions in 45 minutes. You need 18 correct, which is 75%, to pass. It costs £50 each time you sit it, you book it at least 3 days in advance, and it is taken at one of over 30 test centres across the UK. The questions come from the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Does it work without internet? Yes, everything works offline.
