EV Calculated: Costs & Alerts

EV Calculated

About this app

Already drive an electric car, or thinking about making the switch? EV Calculated helps you understand charging costs and times, compare electricity with petrol or diesel, and explore supported UK public chargers.

ESTIMATE YOUR NEXT CHARGE
Choose your electric vehicle or enter its details manually. Set your starting and target battery levels, or choose how long you want to charge. See estimated energy, cost, charging time and added range together.

FIND YOUR CAR
Browse the vehicle catalogue and save your car settings for next time. Check the specification against your own car: registration year alone may not identify the right version. You can adjust the supplied estimates or enter your details manually.

COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS
Compare home and public charging using your rates and settings. Considering an electric car? Compare electricity with petrol or diesel for the distance you drive. These comparisons cover energy costs, not the full cost of owning a car.

EXPLORE SUPPORTED UK CHARGERS
Search by town, postcode or your location. Explore the map, filter for compatible connectors and keep favourites. Where usable pricing is available, review it and use it in a charging estimate. Open directions or visit the provider's app or website.

Coverage is limited to supported feeds. Prices and reported status can be delayed or unavailable. Unknown prices cannot be used in calculations. Check the operator's current price, payment method and extra charges before charging. EV Calculated does not start charging sessions or take charging payments.

FOLLOW YOUR REGULAR CHARGERS
Optional Charger Alerts gives you an Updates feed for watched chargers, including reported problems, recoveries and price changes. Choose whether to enable phone notifications. Near home can look for new closer charging options using a point and preferences you choose.

Alerts depend on supported provider updates and an internet connection. They do not guarantee that a charger will be working or available when you arrive.

SAVE AND REVISIT
Keep vehicle settings in My EVs and save calculations and comparisons. Saved estimates keep their original assumptions; saved public charging prices are not automatically rechecked when reopened.

USE MANUAL CALCULATORS OFFLINE
The installed manual calculators work offline. Saved cars and estimates stay on your device. No EV Calculated account or sign-in is required. Maps, charger search and Alerts need a connection; optional Alerts data is stored by our service.

UNDERSTAND YOUR ESTIMATES
Results are estimates, not guaranteed bills, charging times or driving range. Check battery capacity, efficiency, charging power, losses, rates and fees for your situation. Catalogue figures are starting points for your exact car.

Currency settings change the displayed currency; they do not convert exchange rates or fetch electricity prices.
