About this app

The Food Safety App brings public UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) data (https://www.food.gov.uk/) and Safer Food, Better Business (SFBB) tools together in one friendly, easy-to-use place.

Every food business in the UK is registered with the FSA. With our app you can look up and browse restaurants, cafes, takeaways and shops in your area and instantly see the latest food hygiene rating the FSA has given them - so you always know before you order.

And if you run or work in a food business, our SFBB tools take the hassle out of your daily paperwork:

- Complete your SFBB daily diary and four-weekly review right from your phone
- Record fridge and freezer temperatures
