About this app

Bin Day shows which bins your council is collecting next and reminds you before collection day, so they're always out in time.

Enter your postcode and pick your address, and your collection dates appear straight away. There's no account to create and nothing to sign in to.

Know which bin goes out
The home screen shows when your next collection is and which bins it's for: recycling, general waste, garden waste, food waste or glass, whatever your council collects. Where your council publishes bin colours, Bin Day shows them, so you can tell the blue bin from the green one at a glance.

See the weeks ahead
Coming up lists your next collections in date order, so alternate-week bins and fortnightly garden waste never catch you out.

A reminder that suits you
Get reminded two days before, the night before or on the morning of collection, at a time you choose.

Keeps up with your council
Bin Day refreshes your schedule from your council's published collection data. When dates move, for example around Christmas or a bank holiday, your schedule updates and we let you know.

Pro is a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
• Nag me until they're out: up to three more nudges, 30 minutes apart, until you tap "Bins are out".
• Morning backup: one more nudge at 6:30am on collection day.
• Bring them back in: a reminder at 6pm on collection day.
• More than one address: add a second home, a relative's house or a rental, with reminders for each one.

Your privacy
We use your address to look up your collections and, if you turn on reminders, a notification token to send them. We never ask for your name or email. Privacy policy: binday.org.uk/privacy
