Thanks a lot to the author to make our Squeezebox equipment still relevant in a Sonos world. I've a Classic, a Touch, 2 controllers and 4 receivers. Since Logitech gave up on updating their app, this is my go to app. My only concern is that it regularly happens that the app loses connection to the system, and I need to kill it and restart it. It's an annoyance, but only a small one, all things considered.
Works great. My only concern at the moment is with albums with accented characters in their names, which refuse to play or even show album artwork - although it's possible that this may be a fault at the server end.
Excellent squeezebox controller, even more so for the fact it is free and doesn't contain ads etc... One thing I would like to see added; a pure black theme for us amoled users 😉
It knocks the official Logitech version into a cocked hat. Could be a bit more stable but it's still free and being updated.
I've got a Squeeze Box Touch and installed 3 other apps including Logitech which just hung, others required payment for full functionality. This worked out the box and even identifies my favourites and add-ons. An intuitive interface, highly recommended
Great little app. Looks pretty good, easy to navigate around and does virtually everything I'd like it to. Never crashes and is small at just over 1MB when the trend seems to be for ever fatter apps.
