'Treasure Hunters' from the Science Museum Group is a fast and friendly photo challenge app to play in Science Museum Group museums, at home or just about anywhere you like - it's all about searching for treasures which are interesting and important to YOU.

Accept a challenge, then hunt around your location to snap a treasure you think best meets the description. Playing in a group, battle against friends and family and decide who wins the points - or you can let the app decide! You can also join forces with other players to win all the Treasure Hunter badges.

- Play with 1-4 players or teams and customise your avatar.
- Play at SMG museums in Bradford, York, London, Manchester and Shildon with customised challenges.
- Play at home or anywhere else when you're out and about.
- Photo functionality - save your photos to camera roll to share with friends and family and beyond.
- Challenge other players or be the referee.
- 'App Decides' function for 2 player stalemates.
- Points tally system for friendly competition.
- Collect animated badges in collaborative play.

Ratings and reviews

Functional but very basic. No real "game" as such just random ideas of things to look at e.g. something streamlined. No feedback about success or fail, so it's all rather pointless.

Disappointed to find that every time I pop out of the app to do something else around the museum it wants me to restart! What a missed opportunity 😕

Not what I was expecting, a very simplistic game that wouldn't hold anyone's attention for more than a second. I was expecting some kind of guide. Deleted it immediately.
