refnation: Daily Referendums

refnation

About this app

refnation is a daily political referendum platform for the UK.

Every day there are 8 new referendums on UK politics: the economy, the NHS, immigration, housing, defence and more. Vote yes or no, or skip, and your live political profile updates with every vote.

YOUR LIVE POLITICAL PROFILE
- Where you sit, from Hard Left to Hard Right
- Which of nine parties your votes actually match
- A written read of your politics in plain English, and how it moves over time

A test reads you once. refnation reads every vote you cast, so your profile gets more exact the longer you vote.

SEE HOW EVERYONE ELSE VOTED
Once you vote, the result opens up: how members split by leaning, party, region, age and gender. At midnight each referendum settles with a written verdict that draws on the arguments members made.

MAKE YOUR CASE
Leave your opinion on any referendum, reply to others, and give respect to arguments you rate, including ones you disagree with. Ask a referendum of your own: the best are picked for the daily ballot.

YOUR CONSTITUENCY
Add your postcode to see how members in your seat and region vote, on a map of all 650 constituencies.
