TaoTao Secondhand – A local secondhand platform for Chinese students studying in the UK.

List your empty dorm room, pots and pans used only twice, textbooks you no longer need after class, and let people in your city take them.

* **Local Face-to-Face Transactions**
Browse by city; the cards show distance options. Meet at public places like the library entrance or downstairs in your dorm to view the item.

* **In-App Ordering**
Order anything you like and pay with your bank card. Payment goes directly to the seller's account – TaoTao does not collect, hold, or transfer transaction funds. Buyers pay a platform service fee at checkout, the amount of which is listed item by item before ordering.

* **Dual Pickup Codes**
After ordering, both buyer and seller receive a pickup code. After inspecting the item in person, both parties enter each other's codes to complete the transaction and record it in their credit history. Please inspect the item before entering the code.

* **Looking to Buy**

Need something you want but no one's listing it for? Post a "Looking to Buy" message, and people in your city can respond with pictures.

After agreeing on a price, place your order through the platform as usual.

* **Free Giveaway**

Things you don't need after graduation but feel bad throwing away? Mark them as free and let those who need them take them.

Posting is free. Sellers who want their items to be seen by more people can choose to purchase "Promotional Space"

or "Refresh," the price of which is clearly stated on the purchase page.
