About this app

Quadrix Yard is the mobile app for truck yards that run on Quadrix. Gate guards, yard managers and shop technicians use it to move every truck from the gate to the shop, preparation and back on the road — with the same data as the Quadrix web dashboard.

CHECK TRUCKS IN AND OUT AT THE GATE
• Find a truck by license plate, unit number or VIN, or add a new one
• Say why it is here: shop repair, home time (parking only) or drop-off
• Take walk-around photos and record the PTI video
• Check out with the next driver, a final photo and the driver's signature
• Gate cameras: trucks the camera saw come in show up ready to sort

SORT ARRIVALS
• Complete the truck: unit, plate, VIN, type, make, model and carrier
• Scan the door label to fill the VIN and details
• Send it to a shop (and pick the mechanic), park it for home time, send it to preparation, or move it to an outside shop
• Get a free parking spot suggested, or pick a zone and spot yourself

TRUCKS ON SITE
• Every truck on the yard by step: not sorted, shop, outside shop, preparation, ready and parking
• Time in each step turns amber and red when a truck waits too long
• Search by unit, plate, VIN, driver, reference or carrier

THE SHOP
• My work: the trucks in your shop, waiting, in diagnostic and in repair
• Write down the jobs, start the repair, tick each job and upload the proof
• Assign a mechanic to each truck and filter the list by mechanic
• Work done: every job your shop finished, by line or by truck, exported to Excel

PREPARATION AND EQUIPMENT
• Prep checklist with photos and the prep video
• Equipment check: ELDs, tablets, cameras and everything on board, with serial numbers saved to Inventory
• Scan a device label to add it to the truck
• Problem found? Send the truck back to the shop with a note and photos

PARKING
• Zones and spots, how full they are and who is parked where
• Parking fees for home-time trucks

FOR MANAGERS
• Dashboard: what is on site now, trucks that need attention, gate traffic, time in each stage, shop load, revenue and equipment
• Today's check-ins and check-outs at a glance
• Reports: visits, gate log and work orders over any period, with filters and an Excel export

Quadrix Yard needs a Quadrix account. Your yard administrator creates it and decides what you can do (gate, yard, shop or manager). There is no sign-up in the app.
