About this app

Adds a few choices to the list of layouts to use when a physical keyboard is connected e.g. via OTG or Bluetooth.

This app does not create an icon of its own when you install it, but simply adds some new layout options for physical keyboards. These options are usually located under
System > Language and Input, and they might not be accessible unless a physical keyboard is connected.

Even for positive reviews, please tell me which layout you were using, to help mark them as tested by the community.

Please star this issue if you agree that Android should support these layouts out of the box: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/155769655

Great app! Developer is very responsive! I wanted to get a keyboard layout in alphabetical order. I wanted to get something for my 88-year old mom who had a stroke about 6 years ago. She used to be able to use a computer but now, whenever she types, she complains about not being able to find the keys. I looked for a physical keyboard which was in alphabetical sequence and I found one but at a cost of around $150! I thought instead of a physical keyboard, if there was software to support remapping the keys to be in alphabetical order, I could then get keyboard stickers to place over the existing keys. The developer responded quickly and provided an alphabetical version. THIS IS GREAT FOR ANYONE WHO HAS A SENIOR (GRAND)PARENT WHO'S BAD AT TYPING. The keyboard stickers I found have extra large letters to make it easy to see the letters on the keys, too, so this is perfect! While searching around on the Internet, I found an alphabetical keyboard is also applicable for parents looking for a solution for their autistic child or child who has some learning disability. Thanks much!

Amazing. Did add an extra language. Unfortunately it doesn't switch to English back now, so... Can't figure this out for now. Edit: thanks for your reply! Unfortunately it doesn't work - physical keyboard settings gives me a list of a few keyboard apps, and each has one language as an option. I have chosen Bulgarian (phonetic traditional) for the SwiftKey layout and English for Samsung keyboard and can't seem to switch between them via shortcuts, even though I see them set.

Hi! Try to select multiple layouts from Settings > System > Language and input > Physical Keyboard. Then use a keyboard shortcut to switch between them without going thrrough the system menu again.Try Ctrl + Space, Shift + Space, Alt + Ctrl + Space, Shift + Ctrl + Space, or Win + Space See https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/77538

This app is a life savior. I'm from Thailand and there's no physical keyboard layout for Thai. It was so frustrating to solve the problem and finally found this app and it's very easy to use. It shows automatically in the physical keyboard layout.
