About this app

ConsultaVet App is aimed exclusively at clinical veterinarians of pets and includes the editions of the ISSN Veterinary Broadcast Consultation magazine: 1135-0598 in its original design.

It also incorporates a digital adaptation of the Therapeutic Guide for companion animals and other works published by the veterinary editorial Consultation, as well as videos on animal medicine and surgery.

On the other hand, ConsultaVet App offers therapeutic information only on non-food producing animals, with the possibility of calculating orientative and general doses depending on the species and weight.

The ConsultaVet app also offers various tools to help and support the veterinarian in the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies of veterinary medicine.

ConsultaVet App contains a series of guidelines, aimed only at veterinarians, which aim to facilitate their work, but in no way replace their technical and scientific criteria, since it is the veterinary professional who is assisting each pathological process in a specific animal who it corresponds, exclusively, the final decision and the responsibility of the prescription.

ConsultaVet App collects the opinions expressed by independent veterinarians, according to their own experience, limiting the editorial to the publication of such guidelines or guides, without prejudice, as we have already indicated, that it is the veterinarian in charge of the treatment of the disease of the animal object of study who must prescribe, as the only person responsible for it, the one that considers most appropriate to the case submitted for consideration, based on the exploration and examinations performed, their personal experience, the most authorized scientific doctrine at that time, the clinical history and others concurrent circumstances.
