With VetorDex, the morphological identification of sand flies (Diptera: Phlebotominae), Triatomines (Hemiptera: Reduviidae) and ectoparasites (Insecta: Phthiraptera; Hemiptera; Siphonaptera and Arachnida: Ixodida) became easier. This app breaks away from traditional dichotomies and features up to eight options for answers to a question. There are images that help to observe structures for all stages. In each question, the number of possible species is presented. At any time, you can access the answered questions and correct the steps if necessary. In the list of possible species, information about the descriptors, geographic distribution and medical importance of the species can be accessed.
