Device Info is a complete hardware info and system info app for your phone: CPU and chipset, GPU, RAM and storage, screen, cameras, sensors, battery, codecs, Widevine DRM and Android build details, laid out on five screens. No account, no ads, and the app never shows you a permission prompt.
Every number comes from the phone itself — Build, /proc, /sys and the public system services. Nothing is guessed from a model-name database, so what you see is what this exact unit reports.
WHAT IT SHOWS
• Device — manufacturer, brand, model, board, hardware, SKU, bootloader, build fingerprint
• Battery — level, status, chemistry, voltage, temperature, charge in the battery now, design capacity
• Chipset — SoC maker and model, CPU implementer and part, instruction sets, core count, supported ABIs, live per-core clocks
• GPU — vendor, renderer, OpenGL ES and shading language version, Vulkan, the full GL extension list
• Memory and storage — total, free and used RAM, swap, app heap limit, internal and shared storage
• Screen — resolution, usable area, density, size in dp, diagonal, physical dpi, refresh rate, every display mode, HDR support, cutout
• Cameras — max resolution, focal length, aperture, sensor size, Camera2 hardware level, ISO range, per camera
• Sensors — every sensor the phone reports, with vendor, range, resolution and power draw
• Android — version, API level, security patch, build ID and date, kernel line, runtime, uptime, root check
• DRM — Widevine security level, so you know whether Netflix and friends will give you HD or cap you at SD
• Codecs — every video and audio decoder and encoder, marked hardware or software
• Connectivity — connection type, carrier, SIM country, radio type, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Aware, Bluetooth LE, NFC, GPS, local IP
SEARCH AND SHARE
Type in the search box and the list narrows to matching specs across every section. One tap copies a field; the share button hands the whole report to any app as plain text — handy when you are selling a phone, filing a bug report, or asking whether an app will run.
PRIVACY
Everything is read on the phone and stays there. The app does not read your IMEI or serial number (it never requests READ_PHONE_STATE), does not ask for location, does not use QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES to enumerate your installed apps, and has no account to sign in to. It sends anonymous usage counts and crash reports (Google Analytics and Crashlytics) so we can see which screens matter and fix what breaks — those carry no specs and no personal data, and you can switch them off in Settings.
WHO IS IT FOR?
• Anyone buying a used phone who wants to check the spec sheet against the listing
• Sellers who need an honest, shareable spec list
• Developers checking ABIs, API level, heap limits, GL extensions or codec support on a real device
• Anyone wondering why a streaming app only gives them SD (look at the Widevine level)
COMMONLY LOOKED UP HERE
• What chipset and CPU is inside this phone, and how fast is each core right now?
• How much RAM is free, and what is the app heap limit?
• Which Widevine security level — will Netflix and Prime Video give me HD?
• Does the phone decode this codec in hardware? Which ABIs and GL extensions?
• What is the real screen refresh rate, density and diagonal?
• Which sensors does it actually have — gyroscope, barometer, compass?
Android 5.0 and up. Works with no connection.
