PDF Study turns the PDFs you read into flashcards. Highlight a sentence in your textbook, lecture slides or class notes and it becomes a study card. Spaced repetition schedules each review just before you would forget, so you remember more with less time. No account, no upload: your documents and study data stay on your phone.
Built for students preparing for exams: university courses, medical and nursing school, law, certification and language exams.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open a textbook, lecture slides, a scanned handout or any PDF
2. Highlight the key facts, definitions and formulas as you read
3. Review the cards PDF Study schedules for today, a few minutes a day
4. Take a quick quiz before class and follow your exam plan to the test day
WHAT STUDENTS USE IT FOR
• Vocabulary and grammar from language course books
• Definitions, laws and formulas for biology, chemistry, physics and math
• Anatomy, pharmacology and case notes for medical and nursing exams
• Cases and statutes for law school, chapters for professional certifications
HIGHLIGHT, THEN REVIEW
• Every highlight becomes a flashcard: fill in the blank (cloze), recall the passage, or question and answer
• Add a note to a highlight and the note becomes the question
• Type "Capital of Peru :: Lima" in a note for a quick question card
• Review with Again, Hard, Good and Easy; each button shows when the card comes back
• "Open page" jumps to the exact page in the PDF for context
• Cards follow your highlights: edit or delete a highlight and the card updates
QUIZ YOURSELF
• Multiple-choice quiz built from your own cards, up to 10 questions
• Wrong answers come from your other cards, so the quiz tests what you studied
