About this app

Scharge is an app for electric vehicle drivers: find charging stations, start a charging session using a QR code, and track your electricity bill while charging.

FIND STATIONS
• The map displays all charging stations in the system.

• Location access is allowed, and the list is sorted by nearest – furthest. Declaring access is also fine: the map will still show all stations, just not sorted by distance.

• View the status of each station before you start.

START CHARGING
• Scan the QR code on the station using your phone's camera.

• If you can't scan it, manually enter the code on the station.

• Start and stop a charging session from within the app.

DURING CHARGING
• Track the time, kWh charged, and estimated cost, continuously updated.

• Stop at any time from your phone.

WALLET AND SPENDING
• Prepaid wallet: top up via bank transfer using a QR code.

• Save the QR code image for top-up to your photo library for selection in your banking app.

• The transaction log records each top-up and each charging charge deduction.

• Review your charging session history and receipts for each session.

BOOKINGS AND PROMOTIONS

• Book a charging spot in advance.

• View current promotions.

PRIVACY INFORMATION

• Your GPS coordinates are NOT sent to the server. The app uses the coordinates on your device to calculate distances and create a list of charging stations. The server does not store location data or movement history.

• The camera only opens to read the QR code on the pole. The app decodes it on your device and does not retain any footage.

• The app only saves the QR code to your photo library when you tap the save button for the top-up, and does not read existing photos on your device.

• No ads, no embedded third-party behavioral tracking tools, and no data sharing for marketing purposes.
