It works great on an HTC M8. It would be even better if you could choose what folder on a second SD card the recordings are made rather than the default root folder. One of the reasons I chose this is because it has a nice sized red button to press when using it quickly. I use it for recording choir rehearsals. Could the red button be made any bigger?
This app is really nice, and it's free! I wish I would have given him five stars before he caved and allowed advertisements to come in. Not being a programmer I probably don't know how expensive it is, so this isn't meant primarily as a comment about the recent addition of advertising. I just enjoy the clean, simple, efficient app that it is. The best part is the recording is very clear!
I've used it once & it appears to do the job well. It is very basic, which makes it easier for me to use. I would just like to inform the developer that in portion that contains the pictures to give a potential downloader and idea of the program has a typo. It is the slide that says pink a new location, which obviously was supposed to say pick a new location. I haven't used the location feature and don't see why I would have a need to. If anyone knows what a possible benefit of enabling a location would be, I would appreciate the mention in your review.
Love that you can edit by cutting out portions anywhere you want or save anywhere you want. I usually see editor's that you have to save portions not able to cut out portions other than at the beginning or end. Would like to see some refinements to set up, but overall very happy with the app.
I sit in the back of a large classroom and it still picks up my professor's voice relatively well. It's not perfect but is a helpful app for recording lectures. Definitely picks up sound better than my laptop's recorder.
I missed writing some notes during a webinar, this recorder picked up what I missed! The playback is clearly heard.
Voice recorder - Audio recorder. Best recorder for recording
