The Groove Club was established by decision of the General President of Youth Welfare, Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz No. 1153, dated 3/8/1396 AH, headed by Prince Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy.
Its logo was chosen from three colors: sky blue, white, and black. In the beginning, the club was affiliated with the clubs of the Asir region. At first, a headquarters for the club was rented in the Aba Al-Saud neighborhood, and then it moved to the Al-Faisaliah neighborhood, where it included a number of young people to practice sports hobbies in general and the game of football in particular, and it developed. Work and the number of young people coming to the games increased. It moved to its new (current) building in 1402 AH... where coaches were contracted in a number of games, including volleyball, handball, and basketball.
