Great idea and execution. Love being able to put recipes from both websites and physical cookbooks into my own ad-free space and being able to get a grocery list up as well as several other neat features. Bug report: Currently on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold, scanning recipes doesn't open the camera, I have to work around it by taking pictures outside of the app then importing. Edit 06/2026: adding ingredients from a recipe to the grocery list doesn't work on the app. Default grocery list view is bad.

I love the website and was excited for the app to come out. It finally released and was great. Went in today to add a recipe to my account and was forced to either sign up and be a patron or go without. Having such a basic feature hidden behind a pay wall is unacceptable. I could understand using links, voice, or other methods being pay locked but never custom typed ones.

I've been using this site for a while, just prepending cooked.wiki to URLs, and I'm so glad there is an app now. I have some feedback and suggestions, but I'll be emailing them to you shortly since there isn't enough space to enter it all.
