About this app
Amenbo Viewer puts the backlog you keep on your PC in your pocket. It reads it; it never writes to it.
You need Amenbo running on a Mac, Windows or Linux machine, with the viewer plugin installed. Without that machine this app has nothing to show — it is the other half of a tool, not a tool of its own.
HOW IT GETS THERE
Your PC hands the backlog to a small worker you own, on your own Cloudflare account, and the phone comes and takes it. To pair, point the camera at the code on your PC screen. Both kinds of phone read the same way.
The road passes through no server of ours, and there is no account of ours to create.
ENCRYPTED, AND STILL YOURS
What crosses the network is ciphertext. The key crosses once, in the pairing code, and never over the wire. Erase the phone's copy whenever you like: the PC keeps writing, and nothing is lost.
WHAT YOU CAN READ
- Tasks and decision records, with the comments on both
- Status, priority, due dates, projects, categories
- Search over all of it, including languages that put no spaces between words
- All of it offline. The phone reads its own copy, not the network
READ ONLY, ON PURPOSE
Nothing you do here changes the backlog — what you read on the train stays exactly as your machine wrote it. A task can leave through the share sheet as three lines, number, title and status, for pasting into whatever you are writing.
