About this app

Matomeru-chi is an Android summary site viewer that lets you check 2chan/5chan-related summary sites and blogs all in one app.

We aim to create an app that makes you think, "This is exactly what I need," perfect for daily leisure time and information checking.

"It's a hassle to open news, 2chan/5chan topics, games, anime, and lifestyle blogs in separate browsers every time."

"I want to reread interesting articles later."

"I want to comfortably browse only the sites I like, while avoiding topics I don't want to see."

For people like that, we created a simple summary site and blog reader through personal development.

■ Features of Matomeru-chi

【Check multiple summary sites at once】
You can view articles from registered summary sites and blogs in a single list.

You can search for topics of interest in 2chan/5chan/2ch/5ch-related summary articles, news, leisure time topics, games, anime, manga, lifestyle, IT, gourmet, sports, and more.

There's no need to reopen multiple sites from bookmarks, and it's easy to use even for a quick browse in your free time.

【Easy to Use Right from the First Time】
When you use it for the first time, you can start with several recommended sites pre-selected.
You can remove sites you don't need and freely add sites that interest you.
Even those who "don't know what to register first" can immediately enjoy the article list.

【Supports Adding Sites】
In addition to the sites provided, you can add sites you want to read.
Register your favorite summary blogs, news blogs, hobby blogs, etc., to create your own personalized summary site list.
It's suitable for people who visit the same sites every day, as well as those who want to cover a wide range of topics.

【Easy to Read with In-App Browser】
Articles can be opened directly in the in-app browser.
You can also switch to opening articles in your device's default browser from the settings.
You can choose to read in the app or in your usual browser, depending on your reading style.
It caters to both those who want to quickly read within the app and those who prefer to read carefully in their familiar browser.

【Minimizes Ad Display】
The in-app browser minimizes the display of ads that can be disruptive while reading articles.

This feature reduces the stress of browsing summary sites, such as "too many ads making it difficult to read" and "difficult to scroll," making it easier to focus on articles that interest you.
*Please note that this does not guarantee that all ads will be completely hidden.

[Favorites]
You can save articles you want to read later or revisit multiple times to your favorites.
Articles you found during your commute, breaks, or while killing time before bed can be easily reread later.
It's also convenient for saving interesting articles, useful news, and longer articles you want to read carefully later.

[Browsing History]
You can check articles you've read in the past from your history.
"Which summary site was that news article I just read?"
"I want to read that interesting article I read yesterday again."
In such cases, you can search again from your history.
This reduces the hassle of wandering through the site list again to find articles you've already closed.

[Mute Words]
By setting topics you don't want to see or words you dislike, you can remove those articles from the article list.

Summary sites cover a wide range of topics, including news, entertainment, sports, games, 2chan/5chan, and lifestyle.
That's why we've created features to help you reduce the amount of irrelevant topics and create a more readable list.

[Organize Sites by Group]
You can manage your frequently read sites by grouping them.
For example, you can organize them according to your reading style, such as news, 2chan/5chan/sports, games, anime/manga, lifestyle, IT, and entertainment.
This is also suitable for users who only want to read games or want to view news articles.

[Check Trending Topics]
This feature makes it easy to find topics of interest from articles across multiple sites.
Even when you don't have time to follow all the new articles, you can quickly check articles that are likely to become popular.
This is also convenient when you want to enjoy summary sites in short bursts of time, such as while commuting or taking a break.

[Customize Display]
You can change the theme, font size, thumbnail display, and more.
We aim for a user-friendly appearance for both those who want to quickly read with one hand and those who want to carefully follow articles. We prioritize a simple interface and user-friendly design that won't tire you out even with daily use.

■ Check a Wide Range of Genres in One Place

Summary sites cover a wide variety of topics, including not only the latest news and current events, but also baseball, soccer, games, anime, manga, IT, gadgets, lifestyle, work, romance, marriage, gourmet food, the occult, animals, heartwarming content, humorous topics, and general chat.

Matomeru-chi allows you to check these wide range of topics in one place, from a list of articles from registered sites.

It's not as rigid as a full-fledged news app, nor as fast-paced as social media, and it allows you to calmly browse the sites you want to read, like a blog reader.

We aim to be a place that's just right for daily leisure time and information checking—somewhere in between.

■ Simple, Yet with Essential Daily Functions

Matomeru-chi prioritizes ease of use without requiring you to learn complex operations.

Searching for articles, opening them, saving them, reviewing them from your history, avoiding unwanted words, organizing sites—we've put together the functions you'll likely need for daily use in the clearest way possible.

Rather than flashy features, we prioritize being able to start reading immediately upon launch.

We want users to be able to find articles they're interested in without unnecessary confusion.

We want to make the time spent browsing summary sites as comfortable as possible.

These are the fundamentals we value.

Furthermore, since you can review your registered sites and settings later, you can start with just the recommended sites and then customize it to your liking as you become more familiar with it.

We also value the ability to use the service gradually, from "just installing and reading immediately" to "creating your favorite summary environment."

For those who want a more comfortable user experience, we also offer a premium plan.

The premium plan includes features such as hiding in-app banner ads, expanding the number of favorites you can save, expanding the number of saved browsing history entries, and editing muted words.

It's recommended for those who read summary sites and blogs daily, and those who want to organize their content to their liking.

You can try the free version first, and then choose premium if needed.

■ From the Developer

Matomeru-chi was originally created because the developer thought, "I want a summary site reader like this."

I wanted to be able to view multiple sites at once, read interesting articles later, avoid topics I don't like, but with the simplest operation possible.

We've turned these small daily frustrations into features one by one.

While this isn't an app created by a large company, we value the feedback of our users and will continue to improve it little by little.
