* To use this app, you need to install the "Smart Construction Retrofit Kit" (hereinafter referred to as "Retrofit Kit").
The retrofit kit can be retrofitted not only to Komatsu construction machines but also to any model of hydraulic excavator.


This app is the retrofit kit app "SMART CONSTRUCTION Pilot Updater". This is a dedicated app for updating the controller firmware of the Retrofit Kit.

○ You can update the controller firmware of the Retrofit Kit to the latest version via this application.

○ You can initialize the controller firmware settings of the Retrofit Kit via this app.


[How to use]

(1) Connect the controller of the retrofit kit to the tablet terminal on which the app is installed via wireless LAN.

② Start this application.

* For details, please read the tablet application operation manual.
Estimated work time required for firmware update: 5 minutes (2 minutes for router connection, 1 minute for update, 1 minute for confirmation after update)


【 Precautions 】

● This application has a controller firmware initialization function. Please be careful when initializing.

● To use this app, the tablet device must be connected to a Wifi router.

● Please check the safety of the surroundings so that you do not come into contact with dump trucks, other construction machinery, field workers, etc., or fall over yourself when operating the contents of this application.

● Do not turn off the power of the Retrofit Kit and Wifi router while operating this application.
