About this app
NGOstack is the mobile field companion for the Action Network Worldwide platform. It is built for the people doing the work on the ground — project coordinators, field officers and partner staff who need their project with them when they leave the office.
AN ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED
NGOstack works with an existing Action Network Worldwide account and the organisation or project you already belong to. Sign-up and account settings live on the web at actionnetwork.world. If you do not have an account, this app will not have anything to show you.
BUILT TO WORK OFFLINE
Field work does not wait for a signal. Open a project, record what happened, attach a photo, log an expense — offline. Everything you capture is queued on the device and syncs by itself when you are back online. If a sync is rejected, the app tells you why and lets you fix it rather than silently losing your work.
PROJECTS
• Milestones — see roadmap phases and where the project actually stands
• Budget and expenses — capture spend against budget categories in the field
• Receipt scanning — photograph a receipt and let the app pre-fill the expense
• Updates — post to the project feed, with photos and location
• Evidence — record indicator values with source, period and optional GPS location
• Logframe — review the results framework behind the project
• Members and activity — who is involved, and what changed recently
WORKSPACES
• Deliverables — shared tasks and outputs across partner organisations
• Contributions — track what each partner has delivered
• Members and activity — partners, roles, and a running change log
STAY INFORMED
Optional push notifications for project and workspace activity. Every notification type can be switched off, and the app works fully without them.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
• Optional biometric lock (Face ID, fingerprint) on top of your account sign-in
• Sign-in credentials stored in the Android Keystore, hardware-backed where the device supports it
• Camera, location and notification permissions are requested only when a feature needs them, and can be declined or revoked at any time
• Location is attached to a record only when you explicitly tap to add it. NGOstack never collects location in the background
• Delete your account from inside the app at any time
