About this app
The Nutri Guide was developed for interested in food, students and healthcare professionals with the intention to facilitate access to data composition of foods.
The food composition tables have basic information for nutrition education, quality control and food safety, assessment and adequacy of nutrient intake by individuals or populations.
The application makes it simple access to information minerals, vitamins, proteins, calories, cholesterol etc. In addition allows the calculation of the characteristics of the feed according to the desired portions in grams.
Currently the data used are from the Brazilian Table of Food Composition (TACO) developed by the Center for Studies and Research in Food - NEPA.
New data sources will be available in future releases.
We are looking for improvement and application enhancements, available for suggestions, criticism and praise.
