About this app

You can now control everything from your phone, without having to leave the couch.

Important: Make sure you have latest Airflow beta version in order to use the remote control app.

Every feature of Airflow (and yes, there's lot of them) is accessible from the remote. You can

* Control the playback
- play, pause, scrub (with live preview!)
- skip to next item
- switch between output devices, adjust Chromecast volume, even invoke the speed test

* Manage playlists and files
- Add and remove files
- Move files between playlists
- Create and delete playlists
- Toggle playlist looping

* All playback settings are adjustable from phone
- Switch between and subtitle tracks
- Search for subtitles online
- Adjust adaptive volume boost
- Adjust audio and subtitle delay
- Override aspect ratio

* Customize app theme and accent color and hide tabs at bottom of the app (useful for small devices).

* And a lot more...

Hands down the best media streaming combination with the desktop app. The playlists, folders, subtitles etc. in the desktop app "simply work", unlike some competitors that slow to a crawl. The remote is absolutely brilliant, especially the seeking implementation. My feedback for the developer would be to make it crystal clear on the app description that you need the beta desktop app, which was difficult to find. They should also mention the remote and the beta link on their website.

Like some other people, the Airflow computer app works great and the app used to work wonderfully as well. A few weeks ago, though, for no apparent reason, the app just no longer would connect to any computer in the house. Neither phone. No changes to Internet or original computer. It was a great app, now it just takes up space.

Great app. The perfect companion to the main desktop app. No need to scan libraries, just reads the content of directories, which is how it should be: fast, simple and most of all working great. Subtitlesupport above standard, reads srt and ass without problems. And the use of the 'wheel' to skip forward or back is just amazing.The support for m2ts files could be better. Nevertheless worh 5 stars.
