In theory, this is a great app. I just wished it actually worked like it was supposed to! Ever since the recent update, the app wont ring my phone or make any sounds for that matter. So unless I'm near my phone or on the lookout for a visitor/delivery, I dont know when someone is buzzing me. UPDATE 11/10/2020: after Teman released a fix for their app in mid-December 2019, the app started to work properly, which was a great relief. So I've updated my stars from 1 to 4 stars.

Really barebones product. Will successfully open doors from time to time. No real notification options- you have to take what they give. Confuses delivery people, especially ones who don't speak English. No functionality to force buzz the door open from the app. No touch entry functionality from the app. Pretty sure it's a SaaS product too, no service status page so if it's not working you won't be able to tell if it's their system that's down. Hopefully they will take the feedback and improve.

It's nice to unlock the door from your phone, but shouldn't that be a minimum viable product from a "virtual doorman" system? The system is okay, but I have several objections to it: - No privacy guarantees, I have no idea if the company will sell this data to external 3rd parties - You must wait 10 seconds to unlock your door with the unlock code... It's not really usable without letting it look at your face. - The ringer is an "alarm" instead of a "call". Therefore, even when my phone is set on vibrate, it will loudly buzz me at work. The other option is to turn the alarm ringer off, but then I'm at risk of forgetting to turn it back up every night.

Hi Zeming. 1. We do not sell data (https://teman.com/YourPrivacy). 2. You aren't required to wait 10 seconds. (Your building management may have set a delay but you can ask them to reduce this or eliminate it for you.). 3. You can change the audio settings for the app in your Settings.
