About this app

Tap Tap is a anyone can use — from someone picking up an instrument
for the first time to a musician who needs precise tempo.

There are two presentations of the same engine:

• Simple Mode — for people who do not read music
• Pro Mode — for musicians

SIMPLE MODE
• One speed slider, 20–400 BPM
• Speed described in everyday words ("Fairly fast", not "Allegro")
• Ready-made presets: Relax 60, Learning music 80, Walking 100,
Workout 130, Running 160
• One full-width button to start and stop
• A pendulum that actually swings

PRO MODE
• Precise tempo control (drag, or the − / + buttons) 20–400 BPM
• Tap tempo: tap a few times and the tempo follows
• Any metre from 1 to 32 beats, note values 2/4/8/16
• Per-beat accents: forte, mezzo-forte, piano or silent
• 8 subdivisions including triplets, plus polyrhythm
• 13 click tones, including a counting voice
• Stage Mode: a full-screen performance view
• Practice timer (tap the clock in the title bar)
• Rhythm trainer: some bars audible, some bars silent
• Bar counter, pendulum, visible accents

WHY TAP TAP
• No ads, no subscription, no paywall — every feature is unlocked
• Works offline: the app opens no network connection at all
• Every setting and preset stays on your phone
• Simple Mode in English or Indonesian, Pro Mode in English

GOOD FOR
• Beginners learning their first instrument
• Daily practice on drums, guitar, piano, violin
• Running and workouts at a steady tempo
• Music teachers who need a stable tempo in class
• Choirs and vocal practice

Tap Tap was built for my own practice, and is now open to everyone.
