About this app

The app is based on The Love Dare, a non-fiction marriage-related book written by Alex and Stephen Kendrick. It is a 40-day Christian devotional designed to strengthen marriages. Each daily devotion includes scripture, a statement of principle, the day’s "dare," (such as "Resolve to say nothing negative to your spouse at all") and a journaling area and check box to chart progress. It is used in the storyline for the 2008 film, Fireproof, which is directed by author Alex Kendrick. For Valentine's Day, Day 1 and Day 2 of The Love Dare were published on the Baptist Press' website, with permission of B & H Publishing Group.

Ratings and reviews

I would give this app 5 stars, but it could use 2 improvements. I don't mind logging in every time I open the app, but adding biometrics would be awesome. Second, 250 characters is not nearly enough for a diary entry. As far as the love dare itself, I am finding that as I apply the principles, my marriage is getting stronger.

It would be nice to add a private journal plus you can't put anymore then 250 characters for your first comment. There also is no way to edit your profile or the comments you make. Other then this i really do like the app and think if these adjustments can be made the app will be getting 5 stars.

Edit: I have forgotten my password and there's no option to retireve it when trying to log in - so now I can't even use the app 🤦‍♀️ ugh. Great tool, but hate being logged out every time I exit the app. Frustrating having to sign in each time I want to access the content. Pleeeease change this!
