Virtual Dis-Chem Benefits Card

We’ve digitized your Dis-Chem Benefits Card for you so that you always have it when you need it. With your virtual card you can earn points every time you purchase in-store, view points (and their rand value) and even give back to the community by donating your Dis-Chem points to the Dis-Chem Foundation.

Bonus Cards

An added benefit is our virtual bonus card which lets you earn rewards for purchasing the products you love. Our app features a sticker book that will be virtually stamped every time you purchase a promotional product from one of our Dis-Chem stores. Once you’ve earned enough stickers you can choose your FREE gift from the list of our bonus products in-store.

Ratings and reviews

Terrible app, not user friendly. Crashes, freezes and generally doesn't work as it should. Searching for a specific product returns unrelated products, but when searching for different products, the initial product pops up. Delivery service is terrible and never on time. All round bad experience with the app.

An embarrassingly dismal attempt to copy the Checkers app. Dis-chem's digital touch points showcase an overcomplicated and unintuitive approach to UX. It's likely that the backend tech stack is comprised of complex, legacy systems. From the website to this 'app', there are severe shortcomings in basic functionality for users. Like many others I tried using this app but found it quicker and more efficient to drive to a store than to struggle with a terrible UI. I've uninstalled it.

Everytime you log into the app it goes to the website which is kinda annoying. The app isn't user-friendly, it keeps logging out. Last night I placed an order and today I received an email saying none of the stuff I ordered are available but why was I able to add them to my cart if there's no stock? And instead of crediting me my money, it went into my account balance and I had to request a refund. The app is pretty useless, that's why I'm here.
