Terrible app, not user friendly. Crashes, freezes and generally doesn't work as it should. Searching for a specific product returns unrelated products, but when searching for different products, the initial product pops up. Delivery service is terrible and never on time. All round bad experience with the app.

An embarrassingly dismal attempt to copy the Checkers app. Dis-chem's digital touch points showcase an overcomplicated and unintuitive approach to UX. It's likely that the backend tech stack is comprised of complex, legacy systems. From the website to this 'app', there are severe shortcomings in basic functionality for users. Like many others I tried using this app but found it quicker and more efficient to drive to a store than to struggle with a terrible UI. I've uninstalled it.

The Dis-Chem app is handy but incomplete. Once paid for, an order disappears from the app and there is no way to view or edit it anymore. The app then relies on sending SMSs and emails as its primary channels of communication about the impending delivery, as well as a third party tracker for driver tracking. It also doesn't capture the delivery address correctly because it relies on Google geolocation to approximate the device address, instead of the complete address I provided in my profile.
