About this app

This App provides Eskom customers with self-service capabilities such as account, billing and meter reading functionality. The MyEskom Customer App is created and officially endorsed by Eskom Holdings SOC Limited.

Eskom customers can:
- View their electricity account/s
- View the following for a selected account
• Account Balance
• Last Bill Details: Billing Date, Payments Received, Adjustments, Monthly Charges
• Account Details: Name, Postal Address, Email
• Premise Details: Premise Description, Premise ID, Service Point ID and Pole Number
• Bill Delivery Method
- Submit Meter Reading linked to your Account
- Submit Meter Reading Remarks in the event you are unable to read your meter
- Request an Update of your Customer Details
- Change Bill Delivery Method to E-mail
- Provides useful links to credit card payment providers
- Submit a Basic Query

Excluded:
1. Prepaid vending is not included. You cannot buy prepaid tokens via this App.

I'm unable to access the app as it keeps saying technical error, now how must I log my meter readings as the email facility no longer works and whomever does estimates does not have the ability to correctly estimate as it's always completely over the top. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've tried opening a new account and have tried to change my password but nothing works. This is very poor service delivery.

As my nephew would say, this app is worse than poop. Attempts to login results in "technical error occurred" Attempts to reset password results in the very same "technical error occurred". Eskom insists that meter readings must be sent digitally and then prevent PPL from doing exactly that. Congrats Eskom! You're now a frustration in multiple areas of your customers' lives 🙄

I have been trying to register for sometime now, but it shows technical error. The App received an update on 12 April 2024 but still dislays the same error when I try to register. What is worse, of all the complaints posted, no feedback from the developer to show that they're noting our concerns.
