Matslayers is the competitor app for grappling and submission wrestling tournaments run on the Matslayers platform.

Enter an event once and the app keeps up with the rest: your division, your bracket, when you are likely to be called, and the result the moment it is recorded.

WHAT IT DOES

• Bout alerts. A notification when your division is up next, so you can warm up at the right time instead of watching a board for two hours.
• Your bracket, live. See your side of the draw and who you meet next as results come in.
• The live board. Every mat, every division, updating as the event runs — useful for the people who came to watch you.
• Your record. Wins, losses, submissions and the events you have competed at, kept across tournaments.
• Other competitors. Look up anyone entered at an event and see their record.
• Your details. Update your gym, belt and profile photo; your entries carry them automatically.

WHO IT IS FOR

Competitors at events run on Matslayers. You need an account with the event organiser — you create one when you enter your first tournament, and the same login works here.

Organisers run their events from matslayers.co.za; this app is the competitor side of it.
