The Avis Inventory management system application allows better and more efficient control and management of all inventory.
1. Improves the management of inventory
2. Allows users from all locations around Avis Budget South Africa to electronically request and receive inventory
3. Allow Fleet Control to have a basic overview of all inventory, track and search where
inventory is located
4. Accurately accounts for inventory (currently it takes times to account for all inventory and the figures are not always accurate).
5. Ensures that inventory is always available at branches.
6. Ability to audit the inventory records.
The goal of the Inventory system is to provide the capability to locate the quantity and location of all inventory items, request and dispatch inventory and view meaningful reports. Each inventory item within the inventory system should be identifiable by its description and/or item code, and should have its own individual set of characteristics and different set of processes and controls.
