I under that this is an entry level application, however to gain access to all birds, I do not thing it is worth a purchase, the free version has about five birds available. If you are looking for a beginner's bird application, I do not recommend this one. There are other applications with information that wouldn't cost a savvy beginner birder. (I can't provide info on the purchased version as I have not done so :P )

Hello Dylan. Sorry about your disappointment. You can upgrade from within the app. Just tap on one of the species that are "faded" and follow the instructions to upgrade to see all species. The cost is R59.99. Thank you.

The description mentions 46 species. The app is downloaded as free. But only 5 are available and the rest is only accessible through additional fee. That is just plain misleading.

Hi Paul. I'm sorry you thought it is misleading. In the app description, we do say "The app includes 5 free species accounts. The remaining 41 species can be unlocked with a single in-app purchase". We give 5 free so people can know what it is they will buy. Thank you for the feedback.
