What will this Safe Community App do for me:

The Safe Community App brings the latest web and app technologies to your fingertips, networking you and your family, the community around you, the relevant local Community Police Forums (CPF’s), the South African Police Service (SAPS), SAPS 10111, Community Watches, Neighbourhood Watches (NHW’s), Security Companies, Alarm and Armed Response Companies, and various other Role Players and Organizations 24/7. This assists a unified, multilevel approach in dealing with incidents and emergencies, and could assist you or someone else in a time of need.

Benefits of using this technology:

Protect yourself and your loved ones 24/7 with this collaborative technology. Role Players are able to communicate on the same platform with GPS location based SOS, reports and alerts, direct drive to map and voice guided navigation, a step above your normal panic button. The user interface allows residents and responders to post and share updates on alerts. Customizable settings and tones help avoid unnecessary chit chat. Select the categories and areas of interest you wish to be notified of. This technology may help save lives or find a missing pet.

Incident Alerts and Notifications:

Keeping you up to date with incidents reported in your area and/or your current physical location. View comments, see the location of an alert, view it on a map and access important information so that you are informed and empowered.

Contact a Superhero:

Have access to important contact details and information for the nearest Superheroes wherever you may be in South Africa. Enabling you to get in direct contact with a Superhero to assist you or someone else in a time of need or emergency.

History:

Since 2012 Safe Community have been developing bidirectional communication solutions and software that provides access to this amazing technology. We believe in empowering and assisting our local community watch organizations, CPF’s and various other relevant Role Players by donating tools, safety aids and developing user friendly technologies to assist them.
