Ratings and reviews

Frustrating that I must access the web to add contacts and make changes. The mobile version of the website is difficult to navigate...especially with low signal. All well and good from a tablet on my kitchen table. Still disappointed people need to have the app to receive my bread crumbs. That doesn't work if they're in an area with limited signal where they can receive text but no data. Serious shortcoming. Messages to a group of people instead of 5 individuals would be excellent too

In general it works great. I can send texts to my wife when in nature. She can also see where I am, and I can send SOS in case something goes wrong (not used fortunately). Recently it turned off for no reason. It had enough charge and turning on and off is hard because it is a small button and you have to press for a few seconds, so it is weird that it was suddenly turned off, and dangerous when you suddenly need it in case of emergency. They want user's feedback. I said I want to download my tracks so I can check it out on Google Maps. This is easy to program for them. They were very unresponsive to this idea. I could do this with my SPOT communicator 10 years ago already.

Messaging features work well. My issues are as follows: Not all SMS goes through with international numbers (outside the US). The "light show" LEDs indicators are way too bright even on the dimmest settings. Give us the ability to disable all LEDs or dim them a lot further, it would make it more usable at night in a vehicle or plane. No way to backup tracks and messages. If I buy a new phone, all my data is wiped sadly. PLZ fix this! Allow us to download and retain tracks data as "trips".
