Strategic Dashboard with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for Automotive Workshop
I.- Strategic and control dashboard, made up of two functionalities, the first with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and the second is for Service Order Control. Specialized for the management of automotive service workshops where the business is the sale of services with labor and spare parts.
These KPIs are metrics, counts and percentages, they are calculable, over a period of time. And through an analytical and statistical process, these KPIs are calculated to be displayed and understood in a practical way in numbers, graphs and tabular reports.
There are two analysis and monitoring functionalities. 1) KPI's Financial Board. 2) Service Orders Control Board.
1) KPI's Financial Board, producible for specified periods of time and totaled by branch or totaled by company.
a) Vehicle KPI’s: Reports by Line and Subline Brand, Quantities, Sales Amounts, Profits by Vehicle and Accumulated.
b) Productivity KPIs: Reports amounts by Mechanic, Parts, Services and the Costs involved to Calculate Profits from Sales and Costs,
c) KPI's of Sales: Reports amounts of sales Costs and Profits by Customer, Spare Parts and Labor.
2) Automotive Service Orders Control Board. They are practically visualized and reported. They can be sub-totaled by branch and totaled by company.

V.-Key Concepts a KPI Board and Control Board
Metrics vs. Management Indicators (KPI's) Are they the same? The metrics and the management indicators are not the same, although initially they are similar, since the objective of the metrics and the management indicators is to measure the behavior or performance of certain matters of interest in a business scenario. The difference appears, when the metrics are used to measure different aspects of the business activity at a specific moment, while the management indicators incorporate the measurement of strategic objectives, defined within the framework of a strategic plan in planning sessions, within the organizations. For the sake of strategy, it focuses on Management Indicators (KPI's).
What are the Management Indicators - KPI ?. A management indicator (KPI) is a way of measuring whether a company, unit, project or person is achieving its strategic goals and objectives. Organizations use management indicators at multiple levels to assess their success in achieving what is defined in strategic planning. High-level KPIs can focus on the overall performance of the organization, while low-level KPIs can focus on processes or employees in each department such as: customer service, finance or human talent management.
