The Pope Army Airfield Application provides real-time updates about what is happening at and around Pope. In addition, there is an easy to use phone directory and resources for supporting the lives of Pope personnel and their families.

I think this is a really cool and innovative way to get key public information out to Pope Airmen. However, this app lacks a lot of information still. Specifically the "Announcements" section. This could potentially be a powerhouse of an app but has not been updated or changed in weeks. I'm on the verge of just uninstalling it and maybe coming back in a few months to a year and see if it's made any strides. Again, great idea and I commend the creators but this is still a beta or even alpha version of what it could/needs to be.
