😱 Turning Screen Off works only when you cover the screen, so when you lock you will first see a black screen, and when you cover top of your phone (proximity sensor), screen will really turn off.

🔒 HOW IT WORKS

1. While game is running, expand Android notification area and tap on Play Lock notification - this will put Play Lock on front of the screen, but the game will continue to run in the background.
2. Cover the top of phone screen with hand or by putting it in your pocket and the screen will actually turn off , which will limit battery usage.
3. Uncover screen and double-tap on the unlock button, which is visible in the top-right corner. Enter the unlock pattern if you have set one and Play Lock is dismissed.
4. You can also unlock with fingerprint on supported devices*

* Fingerprint Unlock is available to only limited number of devices after Android Pie, even if they have fingerprint sensor. So if you can unlock with fingerprint - you are in luck; if you cannot - do not blame us.

Used this app and it's older rendition for a long time. ~Recently, an upgrade has caused me to be unable to interact with my screen at all if I open the program. I'm hoping for a fix soon. Will update my rating if that happens. Really sad this app stopped working. I'm on Android 12~ Edit: updating my review to 5 stars since the problem seems to have bee. Fixed in the last update. Thank you!

Been using this for 5 years now since the initial version was banned from play store. Great support from the team to fix issues. Current bug on android 12 on floating button visible interfering with touchscreen is in the process of being fixed. Hopefully, will get the update soon. Latest update still did not solve the problem.

When i used this app(free version) for youtube music(free), i cover the sensor with paper to make screen off. But sometimes the paper accidentally moved, so the screen is back to on, but the thing is even the screen is on, its so dark, all black with circle app logo with like 20% transparency, so i didnt realized that screen is on, so its still drain my battery. So why not make the screen so bright instead of dark when sensor not covered, so i can put the paper back and save battery?
