About this app

CA Mobile Authenticator works with CA Advanced Authentication product as two-factor authentication service to make your transactions more secure.

Using CA Mobile Authenticator, you can register your device and link it to your account. You can activate the device using the QR code or manually specifying the details. This app allows you to authenticate transactions using PUSH Notification as secondary authentication.

Now, you receive a new push notification with Approve or Deny options on the screen. Simply select Approve to approve or Deny to cancel the transaction.

2. Receive a Push Notification.
3. Accept or deny the transaction.

CA Mobile Authenticator requests access to
- Your camera to scan QR codes when activating the accounts.
- Storage Permission for logging purpose.

It's the worst authenticator app I've used, but somehow among the most popular among corporations. It runs in the background many hours after its needed and when you use it again, it shows the same (and now, invalid) authenticator code screen from 6 hours ago. At the very least, it should refresh to require the user to enter the required pin.

We have to find the crappiest authenticator app for our business to use. Something that rarely works, crashes constantly, and will only ever be used for logging into one location. This one seems to fit the bill

Required for work, or I wouldn't use it. It crashes on the first use every time I use it and then I have to restart the stupid process to get access. I highly doubt this is more secure than my password. Obviously.. it was designed by someone who doesn't use it.
