I downloaded the app and created a profile. I added my first pet, and now it just keeps saying there's a new update to complete before continuing. However, the link doesn't take you to an update only back to the original Google Play download page. And, the only options on it are to open the app or uninstall. If the app doesn't work, then the tags are useless, and I'll return them all. I've messaged the developer so, hopefully they will provide a solution.

This app has potential security issues. Allowing email address and postal address to be visible to whoever scans is pretty bad. I took out my postal address, but it also leaves past scan location data on the page. As I scanned to test it, my home's location is now stored on their very open database. I will have to spoof my location and scan again to remove this sensitive location data. I have also just contacted them to change email address to one that will be used just for this app.

TIP FOR UPDATE ISSUE: just keep tapping the screen behind the update message to bypass! What's the point if you can't get into the app?! It's demanding update but none available so it seemed like I couldn't get into the existing app which worked fine before. Why is nothing ever just simple anymore? There's no need for bells and whistles (excuse the pun considering it's pets) for a basic data platform, just a simple and functional app with simple and functional data input and basic operations.
