It actually works. Tried macrodriod and dotdroid for my Mitrue wireless Basic 2, they didn't work but this did. Sadly I found a bug and had to edit my review. If I lock my phone and pause any song for more than 10 seconds it can no longer be resumed by tapping the earbuds and has to be unpaused from my phone. This defeats the purpose of the app. Hopeful for an update to fix the issue.

You've made a pretty useful app, and I'm grateful that I stumbled onto this with the help of Reddit user minato_senko. However, currently I'm unable to triple tap to skip the song. This phone is the Samsung S8 on the lastest software update, with the Sony WIC130 earphones. Thank you.

It works great!! The song skips normally, even when the screen is off, and it doesn't get cut off at the start (the way it happens on MacroDroid)
