The app also support to wake the device when you shake the device. Double Tap Screen On and Off reduces the usage of power button. 1. Double Tap Screen On or Off uses Accessibility Service to lock your device. If Android version greater than Android P.
2. Double Tap Screen On or Off uses Device Administration permission to lock your device above Android KitKat.
3. Double Tap Screen On or Off uses draw overlay permission to detect taps.
4. Usage access permission is required to detect user is on Home screen.
5. We also ask for permissions like auto start based on the device type to make sure Double Tap Screen On or Off service is always available to the users.
6. We've provided uninstall guide at the bottom on the main screen of the application. If you've any trouble please go to the system settings and search admin then disable any app from admin access list. After that you can uninstall any app normally. Double Tap Screen On or Off app consumes battery if you turn on Double Tap Screen On feature.

We do not use any of the above permission to access your personal data but those permissions are required for the app to work.

I have been using this occasionally but now I am giving up on it. Some installed apps on my phone are not listed in the settings to disable the double tap feature. After many emails to the developer, who doesn't reply, I am uninstalling. If you are using a Samsung phone, use Good Lock One Hand Operation+. Two stars for effort.

This app doesnt lock your phone, it just gives complete black screen when you double tap on screen and after the set time in your device settings the black screen will hide and phone locks, don't download this app. It doesn't perform the work you think. But it maybe looks fine with Amoled display not for LCD or TFT display. If your phone have LCD/TFT display then download this app, setup the app and in night double tap you will see that screen goes black but still LCD is glowing. Then give 1 🌟

FAKE APP ALERT. First it's compulsory to enable device administration settings. Then we cannot uninstall the app without seeing an ad. All the settings in this app will work only after seeing an ad and the ad won't load even after 1 hours of trying. So without working, what's the purpose of this app? Totally waste of time and data. What do you think, people are just fools?
