About this app

MRT is the official App of the Royal Museums of Turin, which are located in the heart of the old city and give a fascinating insight into the city's history, art and nature, over a floor space of 55,000 square metres with exhibits dating from Prehistory to the Modern Age.
The App is multilingual (Italian and English) and provides visitor information BEFORE, DURING and AFTER their visit to the Royal Museums of Turin.

Through this APP you can:
1) ACCESS visitor information (contacts, opening hours, accessibility);
2) EXPLORE the exhibits and collections (and discover the Museums' history, exhibitions, events);
3) ENHANCE your visitor experience, with free previews and Premium audio guide contents available, for a fee, in different languages;
4) KEEP IN TOUCH with what's happening at the Museum.

The App's homepage features an overview of the Museum and users can scroll upwards to view the titles of the various sections, to immediately access a preferred content or choose one of the Museum itineraries (Royal Palace; Royal Armoury; Savoy Gallery; Museum of Antiquities; Royal Library; Royal Gardens; Chapel of the Holy Shroud; Chiablese Rooms).
The side menu provides context information about the Museum.
The individual itineraries feature a dedicated and recognisable graphic interface providing a comprehensive and user-friendly view of the selected itinerary. One "tap" is view the gallery of the most significant exhibits contained in the chosen environment and select them for more in-depth information.
The App also provides an audio guide to all the Museum itineraries (35 listening tracks). The audio guides are constantly updated and can be purchased "in App" with a free preview.
