Gimbal measures attention the way research does — with tasks, not just questions — and then shows you how those measurements change over time.

MEASURE

Eight self-report questionnaires cover the full range of ADHD symptoms, plus the things a symptom checklist alone gets wrong: how much it affects daily life, whether it started in childhood, and whether sleep debt or stress could explain the same picture. Answer all six core ones and Gimbal reads them together into a single profile.

Eight performance tests measure directly what a questionnaire cannot ask:

• Go/No-Go — response inhibition
• Stroop — interference control
• Visual search — attention scanning
• N-Back — working memory
• Task switching — cognitive flexibility
• Time reproduction — time perception
• Digit span — memory span
• Continuous performance — sustained attention

SEE WHAT CHANGES

A single test is a snapshot. Taken again after four weeks, it becomes an answer: is this getting better, and did the thing you tried help?

FOCUS AND PLAN

Three session lengths — 15, 25 and 50 minutes. When a thought pulls you away mid-session, park it in one tap and get back; it turns into a task afterwards. Projects, steps, due dates and exam dates keep the rest in order.

THE APP ADJUSTS TO YOU

Your results and your real sessions turn into suggestions — and into experiments you can run for a week to find out whether they actually work for you. Behavior outranks self-report: if you say long sessions are fine but abandon two out of three, Gimbal goes with the data.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

No account. No sign-up. No email. Every answer, test result, note and session lives in a database on your phone and is never uploaded. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. You can delete everything from Settings at any time.

FREE AND PRO

Free, permanently: the full ADHD profile and its result, two performance tests, the focus timer with all three modes, note parking, daily check-in, tasks and one project.

Pro opens all eight performance tests, repeat measurements with progress over time, the detailed executive-function and chronotype maps, personal suggestions and experiments, and unlimited projects.

NOT A DIAGNOSIS

Gimbal's tests are self-assessment and screening tools. They do not diagnose anything, are not a medical device, and do not replace an evaluation by a qualified professional. If the results concern you, take them to someone who can assess you properly.
