Your hearing does not regenerate. HearingApp turns your phone into a continuous
noise dosimeter, so you can see how much sound you are actually exposed to each
day and act before the damage accumulates.

MEASURE SOUND IN REAL TIME
• Live A-weighted sound level (dBA) from a quiet room up to 160 dBA impulse noise
• Live Leq, peak and maximum readings with a running exposure timer
• Colour-coded safe, caution and danger bands so the number means something at a glance

TRACK YOUR NOISE DOSE
• Daily noise dose calculated against NIOSH and OSHA occupational limits
• 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) plus your remaining safe exposure time
• Alerts when you cross your chosen dose threshold, in time to move away or put on protection
• Day, week and month histograms that show exactly when your loud exposure happens

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LISTENING TO
• On-device AI identifies the dominant sound: speech, music, traffic, machinery, fans and more
• Runs entirely on your phone, so no audio ever leaves the device
• Sound labels attach to your history, revealing which environments cost you the most

PROTECT YOUR EARS FROM YOUR OWN HEADPHONES
• Monitors media output level on headphones, earbuds and the phone speaker
• Warns you when your listening volume moves into the risky range and suggests turning it down

SCREEN YOUR HEARING
• Quick hearing screening at 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz, 4 kHz and 8 kHz
• Pure-tone audiogram plotted the standard clinical way and saved over time
• Trend view that flags a developing 4 kHz dip, the classic signature of noise-induced hearing loss
• Tinnitus and loudness tools for tracking symptoms between professional visits

CALIBRATE FOR ACCURACY
• Several calibration paths, from a one-tap sensible default to a manual offset
• Plain-language guidance written for people who do not own a sound level meter
• Calibration is stored per device, so each phone stays accurate

WORKS OFFLINE
• Monitoring, screening and history all work with no connection
• Measurements queue on the device and sync automatically once you are back online

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
• No audio recordings are stored or transmitted, only decibel values and sound labels
• Health data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Export everything you have collected, whenever you want
• Sharing anonymised data for hearing research is entirely optional and can be withdrawn

WHO IT IS FOR
Factory and construction crews, musicians, audio engineers and DJs, bartenders,
teachers, motorcyclists, gym-goers, commuters, parents concerned about headphone
use, and anyone who has noticed ringing in their ears after a loud night.

IMPORTANT
HearingApp is a wellness and screening tool, not a medical device. Measurements
are taken with your phone's microphone and are not a substitute for a calibrated
sound level meter, nor for audiometry performed by a qualified audiologist.
Screening results cannot diagnose hearing loss. If a result concerns you, or if
you have ear pain, sudden hearing change, discharge or persistent tinnitus,
please consult a hearing healthcare professional.
