Meet ChordBoy: The 80's-style chord machine, with a mini DAW built right into it. Sometimes the best songwriting tool is the one in your pocket. In the studio, on the bus or on the couch, ChordBoy is ready when an idea hits. A retro gaming feel mixed with the best parts of 80's style music production, with modern luxuries brought right to your phone!

EVERY KEY IS A CHORD THAT FITS
Pick a key and every note of the piano plays a whole chord from it, so nothing you touch sounds wrong. Prefer big buttons? Switch to chord pads. Turn on NOTE mode for melodies and bass lines.

THE MOOD STICK
ChordBoy's favorite thing in the world. Hold a chord and push the stick: it slides into dreamy, jazzy, bluesy, dark or lush voicings without re-triggering. 8 directions on 3 pages give 24 colors for every chord, from simple sevenths to cinematic altered chords. Tap HOLD and the chord rings on while you play with it.

THREE INSTRUMENTS IN ONE
• Analog: warm pads, strings and basses through a bucket-brigade chorus
• FM: glassy electric pianos, bells and punchy basses
• Tape: a 60s-style tape keyboard with flutes, choirs and strings, wobble and hiss included
64 patches, a drum kit in every engine, and a built-in sub oscillator with four waves for extra low end. Shape any sound with the envelope and filter, then save it as your own.

PLAY IT YOUR WAY
Strum it like a guitar, sweep it like a harp, groove it with six rhythm styles, or hand it to the arpeggiator. Chorus, drive, tempo-synced delay and reverb for every pattern.

A LITTLE STUDIO INSIDE
• Four patterns on a drum-machine style step grid: drag a chord from a key straight onto a step
• Grids from a whole bar down to 1/32, triplets, swing and a loose played-by-hand feel
• A piano roll that only shows the notes of your key, so every melody fits
• A song arranger with eight lanes: chords and melody for each pattern
• Solo, mute, zoom in to the beat, snap blocks to the grid and merge them into one
• A mixer with separate chords and melody levels
• 20 steps of undo, and everything on one screen: no menu diving

Finished? Export MIDI to your DAW, or WAV stems of every part.

CHORDBOY IS THE STAR
Over 70 retro LCD animations: he strums, dances, head-bangs in his headphones, scratches records and acts out every control you touch. Eight looks to dress him in. Leave him alone and he naps. Play for half an hour and he takes a couch break with his dog. Stuck for an idea? Hold him and he goes fishing for chords. Don't poke him. And there are mini games hidden in there, if you can find them.

BEGINNER TO PRO
An interactive tutorial with ChordBoy walks you round the panel one thing at a time, and the built-in manual explains every button. Simple enough to learn chords, melody and a bit of theory along the way; deep enough to write real songs or brainstorm ideas fast.
