One vault. Everything inside is a different size, and all of it is sealed. Four bidders at the same table. Five sealed rounds. Only the winner takes anything home - the other three leave with nothing.

EVERY ROUND SHOWS A LITTLE MORE
Crates sit on an 8x6 board in footprints from 1x1 to 3x3. At the start you cannot even see their shapes. Each round opens something - sometimes a grade, sometimes a category, sometimes only a size. Knowing the vault is full of Mythics tells you nothing if they are all 1x1.

WIN EARLY, PAY MORE
Beat the second-highest bid by the round's multiplier and the hammer falls immediately:

Round 1 - 2.0x
Round 2 - 1.5x
Round 3 - 1.3x
Round 4 - 1.1x
Round 5 - highest bid wins

Ending it gets cheaper every round. So does your information advantage.

OVERPAY AND THEY ALL EAT
Pay more than the vault is really worth and the surplus is split evenly between the three players you just beat. Losing to a reckless bidder is a payday. Winning at a stupid price buys everyone a round.
