🧵 Bomim Glesais Toonet is a light-exposure bench for textiles on display. It helps you work out how long a piece can stay under a lamp before its dye starts to fade.

💡 You seat a piece on a mount inside a to-scale plan of your bay. You rig a lamp over it by distance, tilt and beam width. The readings follow your changes: the light at the face of the piece, the ultraviolet load through the glazing, and the yearly allowance the material's blue-wool band leaves you.

📅 Then Bomim Glesais Toonet solves the year. It books a number of weeks on show and leaves the rest as rest, and it writes the result across a 52-week rotation grid. You can book or release any week and watch the budget move.

🛠️ What you can do:

📐 Place pieces on a to-scale bay plan, with viewing cones and a marked eye-line.
🪵 Choose from eight mounts, eight materials, six lamp types and five glazings.
📊 Read a falloff chart and a ladder of illuminance at every hundred millimetres of distance.
🗂️ Keep an exposure register of every piece, with its spent allowance, days left, filters and sort.
⚠️ Use the harm key: ten ways a textile is damaged, each with its symptom, its cause and what stops it. Set any of them to watch on a piece.
📷 Photograph a piece, or pick a photo from your library, and set its real width with a two-pin rule.
📝 Draw a display-and-exposure plate for a piece on one ruled sheet.
⚙️ Switch between millimetres and inches, lux and footcandles, and choose the month your working year starts.

📱 Twelve pieces are ready when you first open the bay. Your own pieces are stored on your device. The app works offline and needs no account.

🔔 When a piece has spent its year, Bomim Glesais Toonet says so plainly and tells you to take it off show or dim the rig.
