Endurain is the companion app for Endurain, a self-hosted fitness tracking service. Connect to your own Endurain server to keep control of your activity data while tracking training from your phone.

Record GPS activities with live map tracking, distance, duration, speed, and live readings from paired Bluetooth sensors. Keep recording while the app is in the background, then save, review, upload, or export your route as a GPX file. If a connection drops mid-upload, the app keeps your activity safely stored and retries automatically once you're back online.

Features include:
• Connect to any compatible Endurain server
• Secure sign-in with two-factor authentication and server-configured single sign-on (Authentik, Keycloak, Authelia, and other PKCE-based providers)
• Record walking, running, cycling, hiking, and other GPS activities
• View your location and routes on OpenStreetMap, with compass heading and map tile customization
• Pair Bluetooth Low Energy sensors, heart-rate straps, power meters, and speed/cadence sensors, and see live readings on the map and in your recording stats
• Heart rate, power, and cadence are stamped onto recorded GPX track points, so uploaded activities include them
• Save activities locally and upload automatically when you're back online
• Export and share GPX activity files, and browse your local activity history and details
• Import workouts, including routes and heart rate, from Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect, with flexible date ranges and duplicate protection
• Review activity details and manage locally stored activities, including deletion of imported or recorded data
• Choose your language from 30+ supported locales, and pick light or dark theme
• Check local diagnostics and recording history on-device, with optional opt-in crash reporting to Endurain's own diagnostics service

Health, location, and Bluetooth permissions are optional. Location is used for map features and activity recording, Bluetooth is used only if you pair a heart-rate, power, or cadence sensor, and health data is accessed only when you enable health synchronization and grant permission through your device.

Endurain does not include advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. Your activity and account data are sent only to the Endurain server you choose when you sign in, upload an activity, or import a workout. If you opt in to crash reporting, diagnostic reports go only to Endurain's own managed diagnostics service, never to a third party. Server availability and supported features depend on your Endurain server configuration.
