You have probably already had the perfect gift idea for a loved one. Usually you have these ideas months in advance - so you forget them immediately. EventAlarm offers the possibility to save individual gift ideas for each person in order to always have the right gift ready.

With EventAlarm you can save birthdays, anniversaries and days of death. For this purpose, the first name, last name and the date of the event can be saved. For example, if you don't know the year of birth of a work colleague, but still don't want to forget the birthday, you can save the event without specifying the year.

In addition, you can create several greeting texts with placeholders. The placeholders are the first and last name of the person, as well as the age or year of the event. On the day of the event, you can then select a greeting text and send it via WhatsApp or SMS. Before the message is sent, you can still customize the message. EventAlarm can also start a call directly if you want to personally convey your congratulations to the birthday child.

So that EventAlarm can determine the telephone number of the person, we look for name or date matches in your contacts. Of course, we do not use your contact details or other entered data for our purposes. What is saved on your device stays on your device!

The app provides notifications for upcoming and today's events. The intervals and times can be individually adjusted in the settings. A widget for the start screen also helps you to keep an overview of the next events.

For users who are particularly interested in technology, the database with your events and greetings can be exported and imported. For example, you can use this to create a data backup or to maintain the events on your computer (e.g. SqLiteBrowser).

But do not worry if you are not familiar with these things! Your data is still protected against loss. By default, your Android operating system saves all app data and settings in the cloud. Just check the settings of your device to be on the safe side.

I hope I was able to give you an overview of the functions! If you have any suggestions or questions, please feel free to leave a review.

Have fun with EventAlarm!
