Sleepy Whisper turns a phone you already own into a baby monitor.

Put an old Android phone in the nursery. Watch from your own phone, your partner's phone, or any web browser on the same Wi-Fi. That's the whole setup — there is no hub to buy, no account to make, and nothing to configure.

WORKS WITH NO INTERNET

Two devices on the same Wi-Fi are enough. So is a phone hotspot during a blackout. There is no server in the middle, because the nursery phone is the server: it hosts the connection itself and hands the video straight to your device. If your internet goes down, your baby monitor doesn't.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR HOME

This is the point of the app, so to be specific:

• No account, no sign-in, no email address
• Nothing is uploaded — no cloud, no servers, no relays
• Nothing is recorded. Video and audio are live only
• No analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs, no ads

Video and audio travel directly between your own devices, encrypted. We never receive them, because there is nowhere for them to go.

• The app — scan the pairing code, or type the address and 6-digit code
• Any browser — open the address shown on the nursery phone. Nothing to install
• In the background — alerts wake your locked phone if something stirs

BUILT FOR A DARK ROOM AT 3AM

• Dark screen mode dims the nursery phone so it doesn't light the room, and you can drag to peek without waking anyone
• Noise and motion alerts, with the room level shown so you can judge the threshold by eye
• Alert history, so you can see what happened overnight
• Battery and temperature of the nursery phone, with an estimate of how long it will last
• Talk back to the room from your phone
• Rotate the picture for a phone clamped sideways to a cot

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS

Sleepy Whisper is not a medical device and does not monitor breathing, movement in a medical sense, or vital signs. It shows you and lets you hear your room. It is not a substitute for adult supervision.

The access code changes every five minutes and devices must be paired before they can watch, so a neighbour on your Wi-Fi cannot open your nursery.
